Destination Gotland is headquartered in Visby, Sweden, and has operated the vital ferry link between Gotland and the Swedish mainland since 1998, under contract with the Swedish Transport Administration. The company runs high-speed and conventional ferries on the Visby–Nynäshamn and Visby–Oskarshamn routes, carrying more than two million passengers a year with up to 21 departures a day in summer. Destination Gotland is a subsidiary of Rederi AB Gotland (Gotlandsbolaget) and is one of Gotland's largest employers.
